New York, NY.Consulting during exhibit design New museum at the site at the World Trade Center site in Battery Park. Provided consulting services for exhibit design including, scheduling, budget, and document review. The project is currently under construction.

CHEMICAL HERITAGE FOUNDATION

Philadelphia, PA

Project Manager for a new gallery and conference center highlighting the history of chemical sciences and their contributions to our world. The new space includes two-story high display cases with glowing graphic walls split by a glass-floor mezzanine. The space also features a media column with a large-scale plasma array at one side with an interactive touch screen on the other.

DORRANCE HAMILTON BUILDING

Thomas Jefferson University

Philadelphia, PA

Project Manager for new academic facility at 10th and Locust Streets. Project featured several floors of clinical skills facilities emphasizing an interdisciplinary approach to medical practice. Construction features high-tech lecture spaces, gathering areas and an outdoor plaza.

NATIONAL CONSTITUTION CENTER

Philadelphia, PA

Exhibit Project Manager for a new 300,000 sq. ft. museum dedicated to the U.S. Constitution. Responsible for budget, scheduling, coordination, fabrication and installation of exhibits which included introductory program with live actors in a 360-degree theater, films, computer interactives, multimedia presentations, artifacts and 42 full-size bronze sculptures of the signers.

EASTERN STATE PENITENTIARY

Philadelphia, PA

Developing a new master plan, in collaboration with Eastern State Penitentiary, for their facility which, when originally built, represented a radical shift in prison design. This project seeks to keep the context of a “stabilized ruin” and highlight the development of the criminal justice system both in Philadelphia and worldwide.

LIBERTY BELL CENTER

Philadelphia, PA

Project Manager for Building and Exhibit Construction for a new 15,000 square foot home for the Liberty Bell. The project included a series of exhibits that describe the history of the bell as an international symbol of freedom and liberty. Responsible for oversight of the architects, exhibit designers, building contractors and exhibit contractors. Managed budget and schedule for all phases of the construction work.

INDEPENDENCE VISITOR CENTER

Philadelphia, PA

Project Manager for design and construction of a new 50,000 sq.ft. Visitor Center. This project combined the City of Philadelphia and the National Park Service Visitor Centers into one location on Independence Mall. Responsible for development and implementation of fast track A/E and contractor procurement process; development of project scope and budgets; design and constructability reviews; cost review and cost control; value engineering; preparation of solicitations/contracts and bids; and full-time onsite construction phase management.

THE BENJAMIN FRANKLIN MUSEUM

Renovation of the existing Franklin Court Museum. Complete renovation of the underground museum below the iconic ghost house (designed by Venturi Scott Brown). Project vision is to enhance the Museum’s facility and programs to a level commensurate with the national importance of Benjamin Franklin and to put the museum on par with leading international biographical museums.

FRANKLIN SQUARE

Philadelphia, PA

Project Manager for the renovation of Franklin Square. Project included renovation of the central fountain, a new playground, a carousel, a miniature golf course, new pathways and new lighting throughout the square.

RHYS CARPENTER LIBRARY AT BRYN MAWR COLLEGE

Bryn Mawr, PA.

Senior Project Manager responsible for design, construction management and financial tracking for a $15 million underground library. Directed contractors, consultants, architects and engineers. This project contained a number of climate controlled spaces for rare books and artifacts.
