MOORE COLLEGE OF ART & DESIGN MASTER PLAN IMPROVEMENTS

We helped Moore College of Art & Design complete a number of projects as part of their new master facilities plan.

The first project was to create a film studio on the stage of the existing Graham auditorium. This involved building out the stage, adding a lift, adding stairs and extending the lighting grid. The design allows for the space to still be used as a theater when it is not in use as a film studio. The cost for this project was $450,000.

The second project was to change the graphics at the buildings to align with a rebranding study recently completed for the college. It included a new skyline sign facing Logan Square, new exterior signage and graphics at the exterior facades and new interior signage and environmental graphics. Entro was the graphic designer for the project. The project cost was $650,000.

The third project was to join the basement levels of two of their building to create new computer animation labs and to improve their sculpture facilities. A triangle shaped lounge was created to accommodate the transition between the different basement floor elevations. The project was constructed in three months over the summer break and opened on time and on budget in the fall of 2022. The project cost was $5,600,000.
