DORRANCE HAMILTON BUILDING

The Dorrance Hamilton Building is an academic building located on the campus of Thomas Jefferson University at 11th and Locust Streets in the heart of downtown Philadelphia. The project enhances Jefferson’s learning spaces with several floors of clinical skills facilities that emphasize an interdisciplinary approach to medical practice as well as a series of high tech lecture spaces, clinical training spaces, gathering areas, and an outdoor plaza. This updated space includes a full outfitted operating suite and a set of exam rooms where students are trained in how to best interact with patients. We led the construction oversight of this project for Jefferson University.

Burt Hill was the Architect for this project and Andropogon Associates was the Landscape Architect. The project, completed in fall 2008, covered 137,000 square feet. The construction cost was $50,000,000.
